Please join us on Sunday October 02, 2016 for the 1st Annual “Scare Away Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk” presented by the Goodlet Farm Festival in memory of Audrey Hale who passed away due to breast cancer. 100% of the proceeds that are earned from this event will be donated to the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation. The foundation is a scholarship program that is for children who have either lost a parent to breast cancer or have a parent who is a breast cancer survivor.

The race will start promptly at 1:30pm. The race starts and finishes in the heart of Goodlet Farm in Rock Spring, Ga.

REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race! All registered runners will get free admission one day only into the Goodlet Farm Festival October 02, 2016 and get an official Goodlet Farm 5K race hat!
Early Packet Pickup/Registration
Early Packet Pickup will be conducted at the Goodlet Farm Saturday October 01, 2016 from 11am to 4pm. You will also be able to register and do packet pickup right up until the race starts on October 02, 2016 as well.

PARKING
Free parking will be provided but come early to get good parking!
AGE GROUPS AND AWARDS
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers along with the top three male and female 5K runners in each of the following age groups:
10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
- The race will feature a gun start and chip finish. Timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Scenic City Multisport.
